Tickly Tamarind Chutney
This Tamarind chutney has been in Swati’s family for four generations and we wouldn’t change a thing about it. Made with freshly pulped tamarind and sweetened by dark jaggery (an unrefined sugarcane molasses), this chutney simmers for 90 minutes before receiving our cheeky stamp of approval.
A perfect balance of sweet and sour flavours with a hint of ginger and spices that would tickle your tongue in ways more than one!
Serving Suggestion – Lovely drizzled on a simple tomato salad or served with a platter of mature cheddar cheese. This sweet chutney can also be used as a glaze for barbecued chicken or simply as a dip for breadsticks.
